American Hostage This is a 8 part podcast about a hostage taken at gunpoint in 1978. The perpetrator, Tony Kiritsis, takes a banker hostage because of his belief that he had been cheated. Tony starts off by demanding air time on a radio station that is hosted by Indianapolis's most popular newscaster, Fred Heckman. Before long, Fred is now part of the story and acts as a negotiator. Tony then takes it a step further and demands live TV coverage on all 3 major networks. Story will keep you on the edge of your seat. 4 out of 4 stars
The coldest case in Laramie is a podcast about a murder 30 years prior and narrated by a New York times journalist who was in high school at the time. The podcast tells the story of bad police work, faulty memories and creepy suspects. I can't rate this 4 stars because I thought the recording of the suspect interviews went on a bit too long. The case does not get wrapped up in a nice bow. 3 1/2 stars out of 4
I finished season 1 last year and then forgot about the series, just started season 2. The episodes are clear and concise but I'm basically reviewing season 1. The podcast starts on Halloween night in Redmond, Washington. The next day, a young woman, Aprana is found dead. There is no shortage of suspects. I liked the podcast and it kept me intrigued. By only complaint is the audio on some of the phone interviews. 3 1/2 stars out of 4 https://music.amazon.com/podcasts/e8a3c6e3-3d78-4c83-a61d-a95e70acacb0/suspect
