The Moth Podcast

I only started listening to this podcast based on a 2009 article about Terri Garr. This podcast is basically different people from all over telling a story, some funny, some not.

Wake Up Call. This is a 10 minute story about an early relationship of Terri Garr. I was laughing out loud.

Radio Hour, Stuck!
This was typical of some stories I listened to. Each podcast typically has 3-4 stories. Once in a while there are some good ones but you have to wade through a lot of mediocrity to find it. Reminds me of a toastmaster meeting.

The Coldest Case in Laramie from Serial

The coldest case in Laramie is a podcast about a murder 30 years prior and narrated by a New York times journalist who was in high school at the time. The podcast tells the story of bad police work, faulty memories and creepy suspects. I can't rate this 4 stars because I thought the recording of the suspect interviews went on a bit too long. The case does not get wrapped up in a nice bow. 3 1/2 stars out of 4

Suspect

 I finished season 1 last year and then forgot about the series, just started season 2. The episodes are clear and concise but I'm basically reviewing season 1. The podcast starts on Halloween night in Redmond, Washington. The next day, a young woman, Aprana is found dead. There is no shortage of suspects. I liked the podcast and it kept me intrigued.
