Episode 1
Interesting start but having a hard time getting into it. Too much story line and an annoying background music. I'm still going to give this a chance.
Episode 2
After about 10 minutes into the podcast the series finally takes off. This is show is a little more about questions and answers than a straight monologue. The business end of slavery comes to light.

Episode 3
American music and its origins. This is a total shift from the first two episodes, give it about 5-6 minutes before checking to see if you have the correct podcast.
Episode 4
American hospitals were segregated clear up to the sixties.
Episode 5
Story of sugar cane farmer, part I.
Episode 6
Sugar cane farmer part II. I feel episode's 5 and 6 could have been combined. Half way through first episode, you knew the outcome.
There were some interesting pieces of the podcast but not enough to rate it 5 stars. I really wanted to like the more. 4 Stars
